Love this place good food nice people and just a small home town cooking..

Enjoyed the food and really liked Debbie who was our waitress.

Very friendly staff..good food.

Haven't been there for a long time, but from what I remember it was always very good.

This is like a small local diner. Very friendly servers. Good food.

We had breakfast. A great little local spot. Everything we had was good and the service was exceptional. We especially enjoyed the slightly spicy sausage. Not fancy, just good food prepared like mom fixes it. Waitress made helpful suggestions about substitutes available.

My dad would take my siblings and I here quite a bit when we were young and the atmosphere or food has not changed.Good food especially the western omelette and hashbrowns and decent price.The chili though is a bit too sweet, other than that great food!

We visit Excelsior Springs every year for a long weekend. I have either breakfast or lunch here every day. I love this place; great diner, great food, friendly service. It’s delicious!

The Mill Inn has been a place my Mother and Grandmother loved to eat. Unfortunately the day I went wasn't good. The lady server was excellent like we expected. But while we sat waiting. Something was leaking on my friend from the ceiling. Then you can see the grill cook while they are cooking. The guy was handling food with his bare hands. Cross contaminating. He also wiped the sweat from his face and beard with his bare hands then never washed them and proceeded to prepare food. When the waitress ask us why we were leaving i told her exactly what I've written. She said thank you and they would take care of it. It grossed me out so much. I don't know if i can eat there ever again.

Okay place if you are near. Maybe l should have tried their dinners. A local lady said the tenderloin was good. I had never had one.

Always on a regular day trip and the first thing you can get from the server is a couple of minutes to make conversations about your own personal life and its needs of good food

The food and service need some work

The food is always good. Much like home cooking. The ladies that work there are super.

Have eaten here since I was a kid. Always good home cooking. I always like the pan fried chicken. A place where the locals gather and chat. Friendly service.

Small Town Restaurant feel to it, and personally I think their coffee sucks and their prices are too high, but there is good conversation friendly staff and decent food so that helps. I would go back.

Large portions, Great food

Only giving 2 stars for the service.Soda came to me in a can with a glass of ice. Ordered a 12 oz Ribeye, got a skirt steak, it was definitely not a rib eye. Mashed potatoes were powder mix, and the gravy.....was a coagulated concoction of sorts. Salad was fresh but they were out of ranch ? Pass this place up !

I love this place ! I have been going there from the time I was a young boy. It definitely has not changed much in fact some of the ladies that work there now have work there all of my life! 40 years is a long time. The food is still good still a clean place. Kudos to the owner!

Food was terrible, slow & cold. Service was terrible, and the place was kind of dirty and run down a little.The food took forever, and when it came out, the bacon was burnt, eggs were crispy, toast was dry and the food was cold. The food was bad on all of our plates (4 of us). In fact, the food look so bad across the board, we decided it's better off to cut our losses and just leave. When we asked to return the food and pay for our drinks,, the cashier made a huge stink. You see we drank a glass of OJ, and when we tried to pay with a debit card she freaked out. Yelling at us about some policy that if the bill is under a specific amount, you can't use a debit card or something like this. It got ugly as the waitress was a young girl and started yelling, the cashier started yelling. We haven't been back since.

Waitress was very nice, and even struck up a conversation. The food was made fast, and was delicious. Plan on coming back next time we travel to Excelsior Springs.

This place use to be good. Now horrible ..white gravy pot dried up gravy everywhere ..... Cooks not wearing gloves..pick up the tomato, cheese with bare hands. Gross gross. Sunday buffet only day to eat fresh. Dont eat the chicken anymore never done.

Currently Google says they’re open, but they’re not. Seems to be temporary-maybe due to COVID- but didn’t see any signage indicating. We ate here for the first time in Nov ‘19 and it was good. Best part was the people—so friendly!!

What a hidden gem! Just what I needed. A home towny cafe right under our noses. Mary the server is a classic. You know, the server who works way past retirement age and knows everybody and hasn't heard of inappropriate comments in the workplace. The food was served just right and I'll definitely be back.

The food was horrible. Eggs were rubber, service was slow, coffee was burnt, so much American cheese in my omelet, one bite gave me hiccups, asked for no tomatoes, so of course it had tomatoes in it, but you could tell someone tried to scrape them off. I was hoping the cooked- on - one- side- hashbrowns would be edible, but didnt get to try them since they were ice cold and I reached for the ketchup, removed the lid, and there was partially black old lettuce embedded in the lid and screw on grooves. I've eaten at waffle house at 3 in the morning in west Memphis Arkansas, and this is still the worst experience I've ever had at an eating establishment.

Very personal staff, great homey atmosphere and has a great Sunday buffet.
